Curiously enough, the game has a release date of March 22nd 2018, which possibly contradicts Red Hook’s claim, unless they plan on releasing the Crimson Edition following the standard edition. The release date for the Crimson Edition will potentially contain the Crimson Court, which is the latest DLC for the game.
What is also curious is how the game has a physical store listing for the Crimson Edition on Amazon Germany. It seems that the developers are looking to leave no platform left unturned with their approach of making the game as accessible as possible. What adds to the mystery is how Darkest Dungeon has been rated for not only the Nintendo Switch, but also the PlayStation Vita and the Xbox One.
